André 3000 X Ryan King

I've been a fan of Outkast for as long as I can remember. Their undeniable ATL style impacted my life as a young kid growing up in a cowboy town. I remember listening to "So Fresh and So Clean" getting ready for the first day of 8th grade where I had laid out an orange visor and orange cargo pants outfit. I think without that confidence in my life I wouldn't have been able to work in art at all. Our lives intersected at the 2014 Coachella performance where I was brought along by the team. It changed my life. I can still remember a butler walking into Andre 3000's dressing room with a silver platter and a wardrobe bag. Every performance I've been to with them has felt like a part of history. So it wasn't a surprise when they got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. I was able to tag along and once again witness history. I remember when we were all sitting with the fam, watching the speech; it felt like a big moment. They articulated what we were all feeling. What Outkast has meant to us and the impact their music along with The Dungeon Family has had on the world. What transpired next was their team turned the historical Mr. Chow's restaurant into a proper Atlanta nightclub. We danced all night. That night was no different.
