Lmmys X Livermore Rodeo

The Livermore Rodeo has always been a larger than life event in my hometown. For years I have romanticized the Rodeo and found the allure leading up to the event to be radiant. 

You can feel the heat, you can feel the danger, and you can feel the crowd go fucking wild. I see young kids in their 4H hats and matching attire. I see 17 year old kids taking dips for the first time walking around light headed. There are veterans in their newly pressed uniforms carrying old flags. I am grateful to be exposed to that at a young age. I remember the toughest kids in high school would say they were going to ride the bulls in the summer. My neighbor growing up still ropes to this day at the rodeo. It’s beautiful. But in the second weekend in June you can always count on “the world’s fastest rodeo” is coming to town. I’ll see you there.
